“ Halal Banh Mi..waaaht...chicken and steak were amazing..portions were awesome..the staff (Tan) was an amazing human being. The halal stuff is completely segregated in the back in all aspects, from the ingredients to the tools and prep station. The owner wanted to assure us that all arrangements were made to ensure that the religious requirements were met and respected. The food truly reflects the love the owner and the staff put forward. I ordered a combo consisting of the passion cane drink with the pork meatball banh mi and it was DELICIOUS. I was able to view the drink being freshly made in the window with fresh sugar cane and fresh passion fruit. The quality of the bread of the banh mi was top tier. The bread was super fluffy and crisp while the meat was tender and succulent. Overall, this is a great place to get a refreshing beverage and quality banh mi. I will be back!!! ”

There are many reasons why I think this banh mi is awesome. I’m not a fan of thin baguettes, so I appreciate that this bread is big and thick. I also think the mayo is the best part in a banh mi, so I like how there’s a good amount in my sandwich. Also, the sliced jalapeno is not that spicy which is how I prefer it. The meat had good flavor, but I did notice that some pieces were very chewy. Either way, I enjoyed my banh mi a lot! Co-cane Juice. 8/10! This was a good, refreshing drink, and the sugarcane flavor is strong enough. The sweetness is just right. The addition of coconut meat is very nice too. They don't water it down or dilute it so it's exactly as I've had it in Hong Kong! I also got the pork belly banh mi and it was the perfect amount of fat and taste.
